Smarter, more adventurous, and just flat out more stubborn!

OK, so with the exception of this second adjective, many of you might think the subject of this post is a comparison of me Bryan (ha!). Sadly, this is a comparison of Avery to Kaeli! At 15.5 months old, she is buckling and unbuckling the buckles on her high chair at day care and on the carseat (not to mention the buckles on the babies' bouncy seats at school!). She holds the rail and walks up the stairs of our home (she's already given up on crawling). The girl throws tantrums like a 3-yr old (oh, wait, she's just mimicing her sister). She knows what she wants and will do anything to get it. She climbs up on footstools and jumps across "the divide" to the couch.

Incredible! Next thing we know, she will be potty-trained and reading!!

  1. We're getting a lot of that too. They seem to go through stages together- mostly because Anabelle watches Sarabeth & decides, "that looks like fun!" I disagree. It's not fun. But I guess it IS normal. If only Anabelle would start potty training... :) We miss you guys! Are you planning any trips back to the states?

  2. Hey Little! I love reading and following what you all are doing in The Netherlands. It's my escape from a horrible work day... Your girls are absolutely adorable.

Cole, my youngest who is now 4, tried to do everything and more than his older sister and brother did. He is definitely more daring and more stubborn that the other two. I know you've heard this, but enjoy them because they grow up so fast.
